Sweating It Out Leads to Extra Weight Loss |

The apartment complex I live at has a small gym. There is an all in one machine section, a few treadmills and elliptical machines. It is nothing to write home about but it has helped me complete a weight loss goal. The problem with this gym is the windows are never open so it can get stagnate quick especially if no one turns on the wall air conditioning unit. This was exactly what happened the other night. I came in while there was already one person on the treadmill and one on weights. It was a comfortable temp at first so I didn’t check the AC, which wasn’t on. After going a solid mile, the clear pane windows within each door were dripping with humidity. At this point, I was in the zone and did not want to turn the fan on.
All three of us worked out in sauna like conditions burning mad vitamins minerals. I left after 45 minutes probably five pounds lighter. It was more weight loss then I had planned on but I gained it back right after pounding a liter of water. |
