My Husband Achieved Significant Weight Loss Without Thinking About It |

Weight loss is a big issue here in the US, if you’ll excuse the pun. A high percentage of people here in the US are overweight. Hence corporations make millions of dollars each year selling weight loss products. It seems to me that one of the main reasons that people fail at weight loss endeavors is that they over-think it. My husband managed to drop forty pounds in six months just after we first met while working in Athens, Greece. How did he achieve this significant weight loss achievement? The truth is that he did it gradually without really trying or thinking about it. First of all the way my husband ate changed when he was in Greece because he began to consume a Mediterranean diet which comprises of plenty of fish, lean meat, fruit, salad and vegetables. What’s more because my husband was in a major metropolis there was no need for him to drive everywhere so he walked instead. Then when summer came along we spent our weekends swimming in the hotel pool where my husband was staying or in the warm waters of the Aegean Sea. My husband’s weight loss was healthy too. He lost it at a rate of about two pounds per week so that he didn’t really notice until he returned to the US and all of his friends and relatives were impressed.
