Weight loss has always been a difficult challenge for me. This is mainly because I lose grasp of my goal to lose weight. Life gets in the way and it's easy to lose focus. When I forget to focus on losing weight, one day turns into a week which turns into a month and the next thing I know, it's another New Year. This year, I'm going to make every effort toward my weight loss.

I'm going to start by keeping a journal. I plan on writing in my journal consistently concerning my weight loss. This is a very important habit to get into. Weight loss in itself requires consistency and focus. I'm going to write about the exercises I did. I'll write down my logistical data (estimated calorie loss) and other information, such as how I felt about my workout that day. I'm also going to write my nutritional intake in order to keep track or how I'm doing when I eat.

Having a journal has so far been a beneficial move towards the right direction. I feel that even having a few moments a day to focus on my weight loss goal helps me further my intention of weight loss.
