Weight Loss with a Kickboxing Workout! |

You can achieve that allusive weight loss with an aggressive kickboxing workout! I have found kickboxing to be a nice and extremely effective change of pace in my exercise routine. Plus I have learned a bunch of self-defense moves along the way. Not a bad thing!
Kickboxing combines a variety of martial arts movements including T'ai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Karate and Kung Fu. The practice includes powerful leg and arm movements with slow, smooth movements that emphasize breathing. The varying muscle movements and speeds got me in shape and produced weight loss while it reduced my blood pressure. Again, not a bad thing!
This workout has helped me in my weight loss goals, to improve body tone, build muscle strength, flexibility and balance. A warmup is essential before starting the class. I wiggle my toes, twist my ankles, do head tilts, shrug the shoulders, and twist my neck. I also do stretches for the back and then I am set. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the fitness and weight loss results I have achieved through a kickboxing workout! |
