After you have achieved weight loss it is important to continue with some kind of physical activity to maintain your new fitness level. I have found that yoga or pilates is more challenging than it sounds and is a great way to work those core muscles. If your core is strong your whole body works better.

My weight loss goals fluctuate depending on what is happening in my life. I have been overweight and underweight at certain times, currently I like my body, and as you know, that may not be the easiest thing to accomplish! I especially like what yoga and pilates offer in the maintenance of my weight loss. The classes work the entire body. I find the bonus of the mind connection to be wonderful.

At the end of a yoga or pilates class I am quite relaxed and at peace. The workouts include stretching, working the abdominals, legs, inner thighs, arms and buttox. It is a full body experience. The soothing music works on your inner self. The overall effect is well worth your time!
