I have a friend who is absolutely obsessed with how much she weighs. There isn't anything wrong with her weight, and I definitely wouldn't call her overweight, but she will routinely go without meals during the day to keep her weight stable. I have told her that there is essential nutrition that the body needs in order to function properly and that
weight loss is done through eating the right foods, taking the right nutritional supplements, and exercise.

The other day we were at a restaurant for dinner. I was pretty hungry so I had the Chicken Alfredo. She had a glass of water. I got a little upset because she looked like she hadn't eaten all day and was complaining of being tired. I told her she was missing some essential nutrition that gave her the energy she needed for the day. Weight loss isn't something that can be done by missing meals. A good regimen on vitamins, minerals, healthy foods, and exercise is the best way to keep your weight stable. With a little nagging on my part I think she is beginning to see the light.
